Client Side Senior Asset Manager

Location: Central London

Salary: £80,000-£110,000pa

One Property Recruitment are seeking a Senior leasehold professional looking to move client side to work for a leading and very well respected boutique developer. We are looking for someone who has either worked client side before or has a wealth of knowledge gained from the block management sector, ready and able for a new exciting challenge. You will be setting standards, leading on innovation and driving the residential schemes from conception to completion. The opportunity will be yours to expand the residential asset management team, building a department to oversee the managing agents you appoint across your buildings.  This position will suit someone looking to impact on the standards within the industry, driving the sector forward. Core duties of the position include-

 

  • Lead on pre-design of the schemes, making practical changes as needed
  • Liaise with the construction team on progress and likely handover
  • Appoint Managing Agents for the developments based on the requirements of the site
  • Set the expectations and standards you require from the Managing Agent, ensuring they are met
  • Appreciate and add value to the customer journey through services/provisions and standards
  • Work closely with the sales/branding/marketing teams to ensure your position is maximised
  • Report to the board on progress with developments and issues/actions taken
  • Ensure all schemes are compliant from a legislative and H&S perspective
  • Sign off Service Charge Estimates and Yr end accounts

 

My client is looking for someone who can come in and take the lead with this position; you will be the driving force for the residential arm of the business and as a result will require the business acumen and leadership qualities to execute this. I’m looking for someone with the following sill-set:

 

  • MIRPM, AssocRICS qualified
  • Proven knowledge of the Fire Safety Bill, Building Safety Bill and current leasehold law
  • Leadership qualities with experience hiring, training and managing teams
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on company growth through relevant investments
  • Experience in mobilisation of new-build schemes
