Service Charge Accounts Assistant – North London

Our client is a well-established property management company based in North London, managing a portfolio of circa 100 residential blocks. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint a Service Charge Accounts Assistant to join their finance team.

The Role

As Service Charge Accounts Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the accurate and timely delivery of service charge accounts across the portfolio. Reporting to the Directors and Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and maintaining service charge accounts across a portfolio of circa 100 blocks
• Assisting with the preparation of budgets and year-end accounts
• Carrying out reconciliations to ensure accuracy across accounts
• Supporting the wider finance team with day-to-day service charge queries and administration

About You

• Experience within service charge or general property accounting is preferred, though candidates with transferable accounting experience will also be considered
• AAT/ACCA qualifications are not essential – candidates who are qualified by experience are welcome to apply
• Experience using Blocks Online would be advantageous but is not required
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a busy portfolio of accounts
• Comfortable working in a fully office-based environment
